Restaurant Nights- Monthly fundraising night at a local restaurant. They give us a % back from the sales received from RHA community, so it's important to remember to get your bill counted toward the total. Show the flyer or let them know you're with RHA’s HAP! Percentages range from 10-28%.

​

Parent Teacher Help Day- (referred to as PTHD on the calendar/postings) is a monthly volunteer activity to help teachers get their busy work completed: making copies, laminating, sorting, cutting, or hanging projects, etc. PTHD meets at RHA, after drop-off,

on scheduled Fridays. This is open to family members with a completed KUSD Background Check on file with the office.

Parent Meeting- Bimonthly meetings that alternate their meetings at RHA and a local restaurant. HAP stands for Harman Academy Partnership. We are the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Parents/Guardians, Teachers, and the Principal are all members of the HAP PTO. Enrollment is automatic and free! We hold meetings every other month.

Secret Staff- Quarterly program to show our teachers how much we appreciate them- in secret; each family is assigned a secret staff member. Those who sign up to participate will turn in a small gift (< $20) each school quarter. The family is revealed on the last quarter gift.

​

Elsie Mae’s Pie Fundraiser- Order your pies, pot pies, or drink mix. They come Mon/Tue before Thanksgiving break! We receive 20% of sales for our playground!

​

Donuts with Grown-ups- Free community building event 30 mins before school. HAP hands out free donuts. Students must be accompanied by their grownup.

​

Mother Son event- Every year HAP hosts this event dedicated to strengthening family bonds, but any adult fulfilling the role is welcome!

​

MS Fall Ball- Annual MS return to school dance. This will take place at Mahone MS. $7 fee.

​

Action Territory Nights- Fundraising Night with 33% of sales from RHA community coming towards our school! These are scheduled at the beginning and end of each year.

​

Family Nights, Pumpkin Painting- Family Night events are open to the whole family to come out and enjoy. This event has a $5 per person to cover the cost of pumpkins.

​

Fall Fest- This is HAP’s second biggest fundraiser, and a fun time at RHA for the whole family. Wristband for each child is $10; adults are free. This wristband gives unlimited access to games, booths, and costume contests! There’s an additional fee for concessions, haunted hallway, goldfish grab, and a special activity. These require tickets, which can be purchased there or ahead of time. List of donations requested will be sent out in October. Volunteers are needed to run games and concessions.

Giving Tree- Giving Tree is a special annual program that connects RHA families who are in need of a little extra help with gifts for holiday season, with those able to provide a little extra help.

​

Family Nights, Fitness Fun- Family Night events are open to the whole family to come out and enjoy. This is a free event at RHA.

​

Carnival of Lights- Kick start your Holiday spirit with their extensive drive-thru Christmas light displays, visit with Santa, go ice skating. 25% of car passes and ice skating tickets come back to us! WIchristmasCarnival.com

Breakfast with Santa- Have breakfast, visit with Santa, and enjoy a special holiday performance by Those Funny Little People (as seen on AGT). Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids. All funds will go towards our Playground!

Family Nights, Movies- Family Night events are open to the whole family to come out and enjoy. This is a free event at RHA.

​

Parent Social- A very chill, no pressure way to meet other RHA parents. Drop-in event. Free admission, live entertainment with Stu the Piano Guy. Food & drinks available through the venue.

 

MS Movie Night- The MS students will get to watch the movie. Free admission, concessions available.

​

Father Daughter Dance- Every year HAP hosts this event dedicated to strengthening family bonds, but any adult fulfilling the role is welcome! The dance includes dinner.

​

Family Nights, Book Bingo- Family Night events are open to the whole family. Come to RHA with a book for admission, play some bingo, and leave with some new books to enjoy. Remaining books will be donated to help stock RHA’s little library.

​

Annual Dinner- Our main fundraising event; The one not to miss! Our annual dinner and auction takes months of preparation and requires many volunteers to make a success! Each class/room mom will help coordinate a donation basket with parents, staff donate one-on-one time or an activity, parents donate items and volunteer to solicit businesses for donations to create the items in this amazing online auction. The auction concludes during the dinner at Parkway Chateau. The dinner is so much more than just a delicious buffet! There are games, raffles, a DJ and dancing, a live auction, and other fun activities! The live auction is live, so you need to be present to participate; everyone can participate in the online auction (share with family & friends)! This event requires lots of volunteers in different areas- set-up, decor, desserts, online donation requests, business solicitations, coordinating raffle baskets, or volunteering for a time slot to run a game.

Earth Day event- Special presentations from Root Pike (water shed and pollinators) and 4H (trees). Free event at RHA.

​

Teacher Appreciation Week- Each day will be a different themed teacher appreciation activity or gift. Participation is appreciated, but completely optional.

​

Mother Daughter event- Every year HAP hosts this event dedicated to strengthening family bonds, but any adult fulfilling the role is welcome! This year’s event will be roller skating at Racine's Star Roller Rink. We've rented out the venue for our event. $15 fee includes skate rental.

Father Son event- Every year HAP hosts this event dedicated to strengthening family bonds, but any adult fulfilling the role is welcome! This year the event will be a fishing tournament at Anderson Park. $5 fee for event. Additional cost/requirement- Adult fishing license required; License fee ranges $5-$8. No fishing license needed for children.

Summer Kingfish game- RHA community game dates usually coincides with Lil Fish Reading program reward game.
